Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Departments at higher education institutions are traditionally responsible for planning, implementing, and administering the campus safety program. They are also responsible for providing training and inspection to ultimately maintain compliance with OSHA standards. Being in balance with regulations maintains an environmentally safe place to work and study for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
