Or the colleague who keeps pestering their coworker to go on a date. When it comes to discrimination, the employer refusing to hire someone because of their ethnicity might come to mind. We’ve heard these examples given for years. But under California law, harassment and discrimination don’t have to be severe to be unlawful.
